 enough House, on Sunday,January 5, 2014, at 3:00 p.m., at the historic
  Loring-Greenough House, 12 South Street, Jamaica Plain MA. The trio o
 ffers a program of works by J.S. Bach, Telemann, CPE Bach, along with 
 modern works for flute trio.Meet the artists at afternoon tea followin
 g the program.                The Sunday Afternoon at the 
 ‘Greenough House series recreates the atmosphere of 18th and 19th ce
 ntury “musical afternoons” in the 1760 Loring-Greenough House, twi
 ce monthly, October to May. Tickets are available at the door: donatio
 n $15 ($10 seniors, students and JPTC members). Space is limited; rese

 m.com.Alicia Mielke was born and raised on a wheat farm in Eastern Was
 hington State.  Alicia is the Concert Manager at the Isabella Stewart
  Gardner Museum in Boston, MA. She received her Masters degree in musi
 c from New England Conservatory studying with Paula Robison and her Ba
 chelors of Music, summa cum laude, from The University of Texas at Aus
 tin with Marianne Gedigian.  Alicia placed 3rd at the Pappoutsakis Me
 morial Flute Competition in 2013 and was the recipient of the 2012 Bos
 ton Woodwind Society s Flute Merit Award. She has also won the Florida
  Flute Associations Young Artist competition in 2010 and finished seco
 nd at the state level of the Music Teachers National Association Young
  Artist competition in 2009.  She has performed concertos with the Sp
 okane Symphony and at the Texas Music Teachers Association summer conc
 ert.  Alicia has given multiple recitals in her family's barn in Harr
 ington, WA with donations taken to benefit the Harrington Food Bank.

  Places, is located at 12 South Street (at the Civil War Monument) in 
 Jamaica Plain, MA. It is owned and managed by the non-profit Jamaica P
 lain Tuesday Club, Inc. as a historic house museum and site for art an
 d music presentations. The Loring-Greenough House is wheelchair access
