 d to participate in a rally and lobby day at the State House to ask Go
 vernor Patrick to direct federal stimulus funds to the Boston Public S
 chools. The rally begins at Noon, lobbying visits to state senators an
 d reps will be at 1:00pm for parents who can stay longer. The first ro
 und of stimulus funds gave resource-rich Wellesley schools $1.1 millio
 n and Boston got nothing. The Dept. of Ed says no more money will be d
 istributed to Boston except Special education and Title I funds for lo
 w income students. It's not enough to avert drastic budget cuts that w
 ill decimate the schools. The state is getting money from Washington t
 hat Obama hopes will bolster the public schools - we need to make sure
