 try,\" the award-winning Vermont-based Bread & Puppet Theater, featuri
 ng Artistic Director Peter Schumann and his troupe of puppeteers, ret
 urns to the Cyclorama at the BCA, bringing their signature powerful im
 agery, masked characters, and giant papier-mâché puppets. Their nine
  day residency includes two different puppet shows, a political art in
 stallation conceived by Schumann, along with the sale of Bread & Puppe
 t’s legendary Cheap Art and the opportunity to savor Schumann’s ho
 me-made sourdough rye bread spread with garlic-laden aioli.  All the v
 isuals are created by Schumann, including sculpting and painting of al
 l the major masks and puppets, with input from the company. Although a
