 show off whatever it is they do well is welcome. If you can write song
 s, sing songs, play songs, do stand up comedy, performance art, juggle
 , read and/or write poetry, or anything else, we want you to show it o
 ff.\nOPEN MIC COMPETITION\n\n\n• This is a thank you to all our regu
 lar competitor’s and away for us to give back\n• There will be a a
 nonymous judge every week\n• He will choose 1st and 2nd prize winner
 s and the best comedian\n• You will be given a Tuesday one night res
 idency at the Alchemist\n• That’s both bands and the comedian from
  10pm –midnight, with the comedian doing jokes while the bands take 
 a break.\n• You will be paid $125 dollars to be shared\n• The Come
 dian to be paid separately\n• You will be posted in over 15 websites
 \n• Your show will be in print e.g. weekly dig etc\n• Your show wi
 ll be recorded for free and you shall receive a copy on CD at the end 
 of the show, by Joe Stewart head sound man at the Lizard Lounge\n• Y
 OU WILL GET 2 DRINK TICKETS FOR BEER AND WINE A PIECE\n• Only 5 memb
 ers to a band\n• Must come to open mic the night before your show to
  promote your gig.\n• NO BAND OR COMEDIAN CAN WIN MORE THAN ONCE IN
