 ze sweeping the nation – from Boston to Providence to Brooklyn to Au
 stin to Seattle -- and every Fall back to Boston, with HONK! bands mig
 rating from far and near, descending upon the HONK! epicenter, where f
 estival participants (including the audience) can gaggle, gander, and 
 generate the gregarious racket that signifies the HONK! experience. Up
  to 30 bands, with many concerts, a huge parade, several workshops and

  years ago in Davis Square spurred on by a need of a certain species o
 f street band to congregate and celebrate their social activist side.

 times need fixing. HONK! believes thatstreet-wise music can be the age
 nt of change for the better. HONK! is the universal tongue for hey-wak
 e-up-and-pay-attention!This year there will be honk-like opportunities
  galore with outdoor band concerts in Davis, spilling over into Harvar
 d Square and surrounding neighborhoods, and for the first time ever, s
 plashing out into the Boston Harbor. Rain or shine from September 30 t
