DESCRIPTION:You’re Invited to the Jamaica Plain Autumn Clothing Swap
 \nAn afternoon of “Fun, Fashion and Philanthropy” … Recycle Your
  Gems & Renew Your Wardrobe… for women and men… all sizes and all 
 seasons\n \nTickets: Available for purchase online through Brown Pap
 er Tickets. $8 in advance $10 at the door (cash only)\n \nHow it Work
 s.\nBring at least three new, like-new or gently worn and clean items 
 to swap:  men's and women's clothing, shoes, hats, bags, belts, scarv
 es, jewelry (sorry, no lingerie, swimwear, exercise gear or children's
  clothing).  All sizes and all seasons welcome! Please put jewelry in
 to ziplock bags, and pin things together that come in pairs so they st
 ay that way.\nRemember:  bring something that you are proud to pass o
 n. If you wouldn't lend it to a friend, don't bring it to the swap! E
 vent organizers have the final say as to what's swappable and what's n
 ot.\nSwapping is done on a one-for-one exchange. For each swappable it
 em you bring, you'll get a ticket.  You can then go home with as many
  items as you brought!\nAnything left over after the swap will be dona
 ted to Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries of Massachusetts, who is ge
 nerously lending us the use of garment racks, hangers, and rolling bin
 s.Express Check-in.\nTo qualify for Express check-in, drop off your cl
 othes in advance! Drop off is Friday 11/2 from 7pm to 8pm AND Saturday
  11/3 from 9am to noon at First Church in Jamaica Plain at 8 Elliot St
 reet (or by arrangement, email Sarah Hawkins at firstchurchswap@gmail.
 com)\nSwapping from 1pm to 4pm.\nSwapping begins at 1pm (and not a min
 ute sooner!). If you don’t drop your clothes off in advance (before 
 11am on Saturday), you’ll be able to check in at 1pm. Bring your swa
 ppables to the check-in table for screening, pay your admission, and g
 et your swap tickets!  If you’ve arranged for Express Check-in, you
 ’ll just zip right through after you get your swap tickets and your 
 name’s been checked off the list.\nItems from local artists and area
  shops will be raffled off, and we’ll also have refreshments availab
 le for sale - so bring some cash to purchase those items.\nFind us.\nF
 irst Church Jamaica Plain is on the corner of Centre Street and Elliot
  Street near the monument.\n \nGet Your Tickets.\nTickets are $8 in a
 dvance through Brown Paper Tickets; $10 at the door (cash only). Expre
 ss Check-in if you drop your clothes off in advance on Friday 11/2 or

 non-alcoholic beverage. Proceeds benefit First Church in Jamaica Plain
  Unitarian Universalist. All leftover items will be donated to a Goodw

 ew more volunteers to make the event really rock.  Not only are you h
 elping a great cause, you’ll also get FREE admission!  Volunteers a
