DESCRIPTION:The monthly meeting of the JPNC will be held this Tuesday 
 Nov. 30th @ 7pm in the First Baptist Church on Centre St.\n\nThe JPNC 
 has invited City and Police Officials to our monthly OPEN community me
 eting to be part of the discussions that are currently ongoing as to h
 ow to address the rise in shootings and violence in our community. We 
 must, all together, engage in finding and moving towards the best solu
 tion or path for our neighb...orhood.\n\nWhat are we as residents of J
 P going to do?\nWe are to PARTICIPATE and ENGAGE, not for the moment b
 ut for the life of our residency in JP. We as residents tend to become
  involve in the community only when times are bad, we need to be invol
 ve also when all is well in our community.\n\nLet’s stop talking and
  start doing! However before any action takes place we must have an ef
 fective communication.\n\nDo the Council or I have all the answers and
  the blueprint to a solution, of course not, but the Council and I hav
 e the willingness and desire to find it together and seeing this proce
 ss through.\n\n\"Let the walls of City Hall, the Bus Stops on Centre S
 t, the Bodegas, Churches and Police Stations hear loud & clear that th
 is community will stand together and say WE ARE HERE and together we s
 tand, as firm believers that we can make a change and as a unit kick t
 he out of control violence out of our streets. We are Jamaica Plain an
 d WE DO CARE. Yesterday was Boylston Street, today was Same Old Place.
  If we do not step in and lead our community, what would be next? How 
 much worse would we allow this to become?\"\n\nPlease join us at the m
