DESCRIPTION:John Muratore, classical guitar and Roberto Cassan, accord
 ion will open the 11th season of Sunday afternoon at the ‘Greenough 
 House concerts on Sunday, October 3 at 3:00 pm. at the historic Loring
 -Greenough House, 12 South Street, Jamaica Plain. This historic settin
 g is the perfect place to experience the subtle interplay of the two i
 nstruments as Muratore and Cassan combine the intimacy of chamber musi
 c with the spontaneity of jazz. The program will feature music from th
 eir new CD, Domenie, which includes a wide variety of musical genres, 
 including classical, tango, folk and jazz. Traditional tangos such as 
 “Milonga de mis Amores” and “El Choclo” as well as arrangement
 s by Astor Piazzolla will be performed. Also arrangements of Claude De
 bussy's piano music, Paraguayan dances and original music by Roberto C
 assan..\n\nThe series recreates the atmosphere of 18th and 19th centur
 y “musical afternoons” in the 1760 Loring-Greenough House on the f
 irst and third Sundays of each month, October through May. Tickets are
  available at the door: donation $15 ($10 seniors, students and JPTC m
