DESCRIPTION:JP Ultimate Frisbee has hit critical mass! After some disc
 ussion, there seemed to be a couple of people interested in doing some
 thing Saturday morning. It'll be a balmy 40 degrees!\n\nALL levels are
  welcome, and you do not need to be a member of the JP Ultimate Frisbe
 e group. We'll start out just tossing around, working on throws; if yo
 u're a beginner, we'll help you with throwing technique and start expl
 aining some of the rules of Ultimate.\n\nIf we get enough for a game (
 6-8 people), we'll start one- and this is a game where sharing tips an
 d coaching others will be encouraged unless you specifically say you'd
  rather not have it (the goal of this group is to both help others pla
 y better, and also learn from others!) If a TON of people show up, Eng
 lish High's field is plenty big enough for several games.\n\nExperienc
 ed players who would like to try mentoring/coaching a beginner player 
 are welcome. Just want to play? That's OK too- as long as you're cool 
 with marking up with someone of similar skill or playing to roughly th
 eir level.\n\nFor those who are not used to playing in the cold / play
 ing Ultimate, some suggestions:\n\n-Bring water and FOOD. Easy to dige
 st, sugary for best quick energy. Don't skip breakfast!\n\n-Dress in l
 ayers, using non-cotton clothing. Nike and Under Armor sell cold-weath
 er base layers (available from TJMaxx sometimes on the cheap, especial
 ly off-season). Fleece is also good; so is wool. Many of us wear a nor
 mal winter jacket too, and ditch it and some layers as we start playin
 g.\n\n-Gloves: catching a frisbee with cold hands can hurt a bit; the 
 disc is harder, etc. Cheap leather dress gloves that fit snugly are pe
 rfect for the job, but any relatively snug glove is a step up from bar
 e hands.\n\nAfterwards, if there is interest, we'll hit up Doyles or s
 ome place like Fiore's.\n\nParking is free at the field.\n\nFor more i
