  purposes. The purpose of this organization is to assist former victim
 s of enslavement in Sri Lanka by supporting their rehabilitation needs
  and that of their families. To this end, Nivasa Foundation seeks to s
 upport the repatriated victims in their rehabilitation, particularly b
 y funding the education and maintenance of their children in order to 
 avoid the cycle of poverty and victimization which occurs to these fam
 ilies.\n\nBy telling her story and speaking on behalf of victims of en
 slavement in Sri Lanka, Beatrice acts as a voice for the voiceless rai
 sing awareness and continuing Nivasa’s campaign against human traffi
