 cello and piano, will bring a program of World Chamber Music to the Su
 nday Afternoon at the ‘Greenough House Parlor Concert Series, dissol
 ving boundaries, and cross-fertilizing genres, The Pioneer Consort wil
 l lead their audiences on a sonic tour of diverse cultures and styles 
 - classical, jazz, folk and international idioms - and on a dazzling a
 rray of instruments, on Sunday, November 6, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at the 
 historic Loring-Greenough House, 12 South Street, Jamaica Plain.Aftern
 oon tea follows the programThe Sunday Afternoon at the ‘Greenough Ho
 use series recreates the atmosphere of 18th and 19th century “musica
 l afternoons” in the 1760 Loring-Greenough House, twice monthly, Oct
 ober to May. Tickets are available at the door: donation $15 ($10 seni

 er Consort performs composed and improvised chamber music for Violin, 
 Cello, Guitar, Mandolin, and the Banjar--a seven string classical banj
 o. Their programs explore unique and colorful arrangements of traditio
 nal classical repertoire, Argentine Tango, Brazilian Choro, Classical 
 Neapolitan Mandolin music, American Banjo music, jazz, and multi-genre
  original compositions with works by Haydn, Mozart, Piazolla, Gershwin
 , Abreu, Ocarolon, and Nix. The consort is based in the culturally ric
 h Pioneer Valley of western Massachusetts. The three musicians of the 
 Pioneer Consort bring together years of concert touring, recording,and
