DESCRIPTION:The R.A.D. Systems of Self-Defense are the official self-d
 efense training programs of the National Academy of Defense Education.
  The (RAD) Rape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic se
 lf-defense tactics and techniques for women. The R.A.D. System is a co
 mprehensive, women-only course that begins with risk awareness, risk r
 eduction, risk recognition, and risk avoidance, while progressing on t
 o the basics of hands-on defense training.\n\nR.A.D. is not a Martial 
 Arts program.\n\nThe Boston Police Area E-13 Community Service Office 
 offers a R.A.D. course using certified RAD instructors. The course is 
 free of charge. The next class begins on Wednesday, January 13th, 6pm 
 at New Academy Estates, 2908 Washington St. If interested in taking th
