DESCRIPTION:The R.A.D. Systems of Self-Defense are the official self-d
 efense training programs of the National Academy of Defense Education.
  The (RAD) Rape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic se
 lf-defense tactics and techniques for women. The R.A.D. System is a co
 mprehensive, women-only course that begins with risk awareness, risk r
 eduction, risk recognition, and risk avoidance, while progressing on t
 o the basics of hands-on defense training. R.A.D. is not a Martial Art
 s program.\n\nThe Boston Police Area E-13 Community Service Office off
 ers a RAD course using certified instructors. The course is free of ch
 arge. If you are interested in taking the course, please contact Elisa
