 equities. The workshop focuses on easy ways to share opinions with pub

 your interpersonal skills to influence lawmakers’ thinking and votes

 Q&AABOUT OUR PRESENTERMiriam Stein, MSW, is an experienced advocacy tr
 ainer, consultant and speaker. She is committed to helping people from
  all walks of life become comfortable expressing their views to lawmak
 ers. Her recent book, Make Your Voice Matter With Lawmakers: No Experi
 ence Necessary is based on a unique curriculum Miriam developed for he
 r advocacy workshops.Miriam is the Advocacy Consultant to the Interfai
 th Advocacy Network to End Family Homelessness. Previously, she was Di
 rector of Governmental Affairs at the National Association of Social W
 orkers, MA Chapter and Director of Communications at the Massachusetts
  Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition. She heads the Diversity Adv
 isory Committee to the Superintendent of Schools in Arlington, MA and 
 was co-chair of Arlington’s Diversity Task Group for more than ten y
