    Hey Joseph,

I think early last week I came in to do that very thing with the new welcome for the month, but could not find out how to do it, or else I would have totally on top of those welcomes!

    So sorry...help?

    Sorry for my slacktasticness...

Did you see me and my hubby waving to you on Boylston the other day?? Sorry if we confused you! LOL

Sorry for my slacktasticness lately, Joseph. My father-in-law was critically ill with a blood clot in his lungs, so my husband and I were staying in Worcester close to the hospital should his condition change. I'm happy to report that he's home with a visiting nurse, but will likely have to be on blood thinners the rest of his life. Anyway, just a tiny update in my life. Looking forward to a nice dinner with the team next week! Keep on keepin' on, friend!

    Hey!

Thanks for writing with the info. I definitely am looking forward to helping out. On the Ning site it looks like they have a: welcome, conversation, and neighbors banner - would you like graphics to be created around a word or idea? For example: "organize" "network" etc. Anyway, just some thoughts to get things rolling. Hope to see you down at Wake Up today!
  • Helen Brown

    Hello Joseph,
Thanks for founding this site. What can you tell us about Rossmore Rd ? Looking at renting an apartment along there! seems like a good place. We are family with interest in community building, creative stuff, gardening. We'd be grateful for any feedback! Ta.

The outer door to the dog park popped of the hinges today. We temporarily pushed it back into place with a shovel, ha, but I think maybe the screw on the hinge needs to be tightened? I don't have any wrenches.

Hey Joe, just a question/comment - I went to add a discussion today and it didn't really fit into any of the categories? Shouldn't there be a crime/coplaint section? Or a misc. section?

I am not an official 'mayor' or other leader. I live on Olmstead street. Do we have a leader on our street already?
  • Russell

Joseph, Thank you for the email. At this time I believe it would be in my interest to talk with someone. You had mentioned a trauma counselor that you knew. If I could arrange a meeting with them. I definetely need something. I can be reached via email or ph at 508-415-7914
  • Christine Poff

    Hey Chief Neighbor,

Am helping to organize a crowd of 7th grade boys from Boston Latin to have pizza on Wednesday for lunch at S' Old Place for same reasons you are. Should we plan this for another time?

    Christine Poff
  • Christine Poff

It's great. If the 7th graders don't come, I will and will grab some others. Stopped in today, think it's great to flood the place. Besides it's probably the safest spot in Boston right now!
  • Carol T

Joseph, I believe that Wednesday is the 24th not the 23rd. Is the lunch going to be Tuesday or Wednesday?
  • Carol T

    See you there Chief Neighbor.

might somebody from this newly formed 'framework group' want to attend the swc meetings? if so, can you please give them the heads up that wed's mtg is dealing with crime relative to recent biker muggings.

when is the next meeting for your group? i'll plan on attending. thanks, janet
  • Judith Wright

Thanks for the help in getting started and posting my event.  Good to be aboard.
