Neighbor Requests

How to submit a Neighbor Request to be shoveled out:

1) Click "Report an Issue" at the bottom of the map on SnowCrew page. 2) For "Street Address", type the exact address like "19 Grovener Street" 3) For "City/County", type the town like "Jamaica Plain" 4) For "State/Province", type the state "MA".

5) Under the "Neighbor Request" heading select what you would like shoveled.  6) For "Summary", type a brief summary of what needs to be shoveled like "Honda Fit HP 795G" or "Sidewalk infront of house". 7) For "Description", type in full details like "Pale Blue Honda,  5 door Hatchback first car on left side of street facing Grovenor from pond between handicap parking signs around corner from 14 pond."

8) For "Choose File", ignore, unless you have a picture of what needs to be shoveled. 9) For "Name", fill in your name 10) For "Email", fill in your email address 11) Click Submit, and a window will appear saying "Your report has been successfully sent" and you will receive an email stating something like "Congratulations! (#147625) was Acknowledged"

Good news: You can call in requests, when you don't have internet access to 877.853.1552

Leave a message with very detailed information of what need to be shoved. You MUST leave an address AND your email. 

Please note:

• This does not guarantee that you will be shoveled out or how well you will be shoveled.
• You need to submit a request EACH TIME it snows.
• Volunteers will not charge you. Do not pay anyone for shoveling you have not contracted them to do so. If you feel you are being scammed call 911 immediately.
• Neighbors for Neighbors is in no way responsible for anything that happens to you or your property. Participating is at your own risk.
