Beware of Cable scam in Jamaica Plain

It has come to our attention that within the past week there have been individuals reporting to be "Direct TV" salesmen who have contacted citizens selling cable/satellite services, requiring monies prior to installation. Please beware of fraudulent attempts to buy services in person. Unless your at a bonifide office of a cable/satellite provider, question the validity of the "salesmen" and call your local provider to confirm/deny the legitimacy of the person your speaking to.
