In response to the awesome feedback we got from you in the Neighbors for Neighbors 2008 Survey, last night Jon R., a board member and Chair of the NFN Technology Committee, and I worked late and made some big technology decisions.

Introducing the Neighbors for Neighbors Organizing Network

In response to the Neighbors for Neighbors 2008 Survey where over 50% of those who took the survey said they wanted more activity-based events and groups, we created the Jamaica Plain Organizing Network.

Unlike our last organizing model comprised of our blog, google groups, and hope, we created a one-stop shop for residents of Jamaica Plain to create, get members, organize, and communicate what they are working on to make a difference.
