Dear family and friends of Jaewon
It is always heartbreaking when a young person dies but it is especially so when it is a young person like Jaewon who clearly had such promise to fulfill in life. Our whole family sends you all our sympathies.

I ride my bike by that basketball court every morning. I have three kids of my own, the youngest boy the same age as Jaewon. I can only begin to imagine your sadness and grief. From all I've read and heard about Jaewon I think he must've been one special boy. I hope the memories of his goodness and love help to sustain you all somehow. My prayers are with you.

I saw the memorial on the basketball court and was just stunned by imagining your 14 year old Jaewon, no longer running, playing, thinking.

Our hearts are with you,
