Environmental Summits

Boston City Councillor At-Large John R. Connolly, Chair of the Council’s Committee on Environment and Health, will chair two City Council environmental summits related to simple steps as to how individuals can reduce their impact on the environment. The first summit will take place April 21, in the Charlestown Navy Yard, Building 114 at 6 PM. Students from Youth C.A.N. (Climate Action Network) will help facilitate. The event will be held café-style, with attendees travelling from table to table discussing various topics related to climate change, and how environmentally-friendly lifestyle changes can be cost-saving. The second summit will be held April 23, at Healthworks at the Codman Square Health Center, 450 Washington Street, Dorchester, at 5:30 PM. All are welcome to attend and encouraged to participate. Please contact Councillor Connolly’s office at (617) 635-3115 if you have any questions.
