Neighbors for Neighbors

Do stuff with and for your neighbors

Doyle's Cafe
3484 Washington St., Jamaica Plain
617-524-2345

Strike up the band! If you've ever been to Doyle's Cafe on St. Patrick's Day, you know it's not just about the food. There's live Irish music, yes, but there's also something a little louder. The Boston Police Gaelic Column of Pipes and Drums stops in for a bit to entertain the crowd.

Now, back to the food. Doyle's Cafe calls its St. Patrick's Day meal the New England Boiled Dinner, which includes corned beef and cabbage, potato, beets, and carrots. If that doesn't appeal to your taste buds, the cafe will offer an additional limited menu (call for more details). Thirsty? Alcohol will be served starting at 9 a.m. when the doors open. The establishment closes at 1 a.m.
