Heya Carol! I am actually now seeing your request on the map, like like it might not have going through. If it did and you got a confirmation  would you mind emailing me. Thanks!

Thanks for doing this for people, Joseph. I'd hoped we'd get less too...seeing (not seeing) my car this am was a surprise.

I wanted to tell you obligate pedestrians that he roads are pretty slippery and poorly plowed more than usual so if you are walking in the road you can be careful to be alert. I saw a car skid and nearly mow down a couple on Spring Park (JP) an hour ago-they fell to the ground/snowbank but weren't hurt. Yelling ensued, however.

When everyone is done (now?) you should do a victory dance (shout out?), Joseph. Is everyone out? (my snowbank is now gone also :)

Laura,

- No. You do not also need to sign up for the Nemo form.

- You said your inbox if flooded, what kind of notifications are you getting? Are they just yours or others too?

- Great idea, and I see people are signing up inconsistently. That is not something we can address now, but for next time, absolutely.

Thanks so much for taking the time to give input.

Hi Joseph,

Some questions/comments:

-If we are following Boston on SeeClickFix, do we still need to register for the Nemo digout? (I'm guessing not since my email box has been flooded with messages.)

-Can we suggest that people put their address as the first thing in the subject line? That makes it a lot easier to scan emails and figure out which ones we might be able to help with. As things are now, I'm just deleting emails without reading them because I'm getting far too many and can't juggle them. I'm also following comments so I know whether something has been resolved. Or maybe the subject line can include the type of service needed, such as:

  • SHOVEL: <insert address here>

-A question to anyone who knows the answer: How do I get these messages to go to the iPhone app? So far the only one I see one that I commented on.

Thanks,

Laura

Thanks for posting feedback Laura. You can add a comment to your request with more info. I will see if I can update it for you!

It seemed easy and straightforward when I just signed up for help.. I will post the page for volunteers on Facebook tomorrow when everyone's on there being bored and housebound.

but I just realized I want to change my request slightly. I said "please shovel my car out". How can I change it?, or if it's easier if you just do it (not sure) just make it "please shovel car out and clean off snow". I have trouble even doing that now (a change). Thank you.Sorry to make you xtra work.

Hey Laura, thanks for the feedback. I am not sure about people being able to resolve their own issues, but I will look into it and get back to you. Joseph

The directions for how to use SnowCrew were last updated on 2.6.2013. We are still doing some verification!
