I'm starting the search for the Next Resident(s) of 21 Brookside Avenue! My lovely home will have at least one room available for September 1st, and possibly two other rooms for the same date -- depending on what current subletters decide to do this week. Since I'm the only person officially staying at this point, I'm in charge of filling up the house, and I'm ready to get 'er done!

A few things you should know about 21 BSide. It's...

1. A spacious 4-bedroom, 2-bath home located 3 minutes walking from the Stony Brook T Station
2. Has a full back/side yard with space for gardening
3. Has dedicating parking spots available in said yard, plus lots of non-permit, on-street parking
4. Has free laundry in the basement
5. Is a hop/skip from the Brewery Complex, with Ula Cafe, Mike's Fitness and the Milky Way all in one building!
6. Is also a hop/skip from the Southwest Corridor parks/bike path into the city; Franklin Park; and "downtown" JP
7. And so much more!
   

We all split the rent $695 each pre-utilities, which this summer have been running about $40/person/month. Vibe of the house is pretty relaxed. Current tenants are mid-20s nonprofit communications worker (me), mid-20s aspiring museum educator (possibly staying), mid-30s recently graduated divinity school/law school couple (leaving), and mid-30s pediatrician (possibly staying, but not likely). House is pet-friendly (negotiable with landlords).
