Beautiful bedroom in three-person apartment in Jamaica Plain available now. I am moving to W Mass and on a flexible schedule. I can leave my furnished bedroom for a sublet, or I can move completely and rent the bedroom and office unfurnished.
The bedroom is decent-sized, fully furnished, including a really comfortable queen-size bed and linens, bookcase, and bureau. The street is relatively quiet.
One housemate is a 35-years-wise male artist-musician. The other is a 20-years-creative male graduate student in music. I (the one subletting the room) am a social worker with a Fair Trade business working with women's groups in Guatemala.
We don’t formally share food, though we sometimes have meals together. We keep the house relatively clean though we aren’t the white-glove sorts. We don’t have a television in the common space. We are friendly and like to share and laugh.
The apartment is on the second floor of a three-story house a few blocks from City Feed (at the corner of Beecher and Boylston), the Stonybrook T stop on the Orange line, and Centre Street and the #39 bus. On-street parking. Guest room, living room, eat-in kitchen, porch. Shower and bathtub with good water pressure. (Unfortunately no washing machine/dryer on premises, though there is a laundromat nearby.) Hardwood floors, high ceilings, large windows, sunlight, plants, art. There’s a community garden and a dog park less than a block away. It is an easy walk to Jamaica Pond.
The rent is $550 per month plus utilities (gas heat, electricity, and wireless internet service).
Please, no pets, cigarettes, drugs.
