On Saturday July 18 , BNB will send 500 bikes to the Village Bicycle Project (VBP) in Ghana. Please help load the shipping container located at 179 Boylston St in Jamaica Plain, 1and 1/2 blocks from Stony Brook T (orange line). With enough volunteers we also hope to better organize the BNB warehouse. Time : 10 AM to 4PM. BNB will provide Bagels and Coffee in AM; Pizza and Salad for lunch. VBP is a critical wholesale bike supplier for many small Ghanaian bike vendors, they also directly distribute thousands of bikes yearly at subsidized prices, going community by community conducting bike maintenance and distribution workshops throughout Ghana.
