I work at the Martha Eliot Health Center near Jackson Square. I am collecting used books for our pediatric patients (ages 0-12) as part of our Reach Out and Read/Reach Up and Read literacy programming. We try to be sure that every child leaves his or her visit with a book. And we counsel parents on the importance of reading from an early age.
