Hello,

I am a graduate student studying architecture at Wentworth Institute of Technology, and I am currently pursing a thesis on pedestrian friendly urban environments. My hypothetical site is situated near the Forest Hills station on a parking lot across from the T station, as well as the MBTA Bus parking lot up the road from it, and an empty lot full of brush off of Brookley Road.

My main goal is to try to make it a more pleasant place to live and work. I will be introducing new apartments/housing, more retail and office space, and a better connection from the Arnold Arboretum and Franklin Park/Forest Hills Cemetery.

Because the main goal of this project is to make that area around Forest Hills a better place I would like to find out from the community what you would like to see in those spots. What do you think could help fix that area? It can be anything from a specific type of shop or restaurant to a big park. This project will not be built, it is just a study for my thesis.

Thank You,

Josh
