Neighbors for Neighbors

Do stuff with and for your neighbors

Between June 2007 and June 2009, notloB Parlour Concerts presented 25 newgrass, traditional and contemporary folk, Celtic and blues not-for-profit
concerts at the Loring Greenough House. Artists presented include the
Rowan Brothers, Sometymes Why, Mike and Ruthy, Rushard Eggleston, Lissa
Schneckenburger, Tripping Lily, Kirstin Andreassen, Bob Franke, Geoff Bartley and Pat Wictor. Since that time, it has presented close to 50
concerts in Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, Newton, Malden and
Grafton.

The Spring season marks the return to the historic Loring Greenough...,
located at 12 South Street, Jamaica Plain. The volunteers and artists
look forward to returning to the community.

Not-for-profit notloB folk concerts are run by volunteer power. Re-starting the JP series will require a pool of dedicated people living in/near JP. Opportunities also exist for concerts presented at
the Unity Church of God in Somerville.

Will you help?

Need: publicity, hospitality, set-up/take-down.
