yard waste

Does anyone have any recommendations for where we can dispose of yard waste? Is there a city-wide composting center? We have a few yard waste bags filled with old roots and branches from some shrubs that we removed from our yard.

The Morton St yard of Apple D'Or off American Legion Highway takes yard waste.
They are open 7-4 six days a week, it costs 13 dollars a yard and I don't know what
they would charge to get rid of a few bags probably five bucks. their phone # is 508-229-2440
