Hi all, the park will be closed for the day this coming Saturday, due to the fence replacement between the park and the community garden. As far as I know it will take just one day. If it rains that day the work will be postponed.

The new fence will be six feet high, with further netting above that to prevent the tennis balls from ending up in the garden. I think it will be a nice improvement to both the garden and the park!

If you are looking for an alternative place to bring your dog for off-leash play, I'd like to remind you of the fenced-in dog runs at Angell Memorial/MSPCA. If you are unfamiliar with them, there are about 5 areas around the parking lot behind the facility. They are actually really nice, with water pumps and free poop bags, and I encourage you all to check them out!
