for all your water loving dogs, I have just been notified that the muddy river, including leveret, wards and willow ponds (the ponds that flow from the jamaica pond on towards brookline) have toxic levels of blue green algae. this algae can be fatal to dogs if ingested. just wanted you all to know & to keep all jp puppies safe! I posted this, including the email I received, on the general discussion group if want more information.
