Be vigilant for hookworm
Hey everyone,
I just took Letzty to the vet because she wasn't feeling well and she came back positive for hookworm.
She's never been a big eater, so I don't know whether she's had them the entire month I've had her or whether she picked it up from around town. Either way, keep an eye out for any symptoms of it in your dog and clean up all poop!
Let's make sure no other dogs have to end up with them as well!

Hi all! I wanted to let you know that hookworm and whipworm once present in an environment like a dog park almost never goes away. Many animal care settings that have found one case have opted to treat all the animals exposed to a shared outdoor space. So...all users of Beecher may want to consult their vets on this one.
