Neighbors for Neighbors

Do stuff with and for your neighbors

Hi,

I'm new to the area. We have a one year old cane corso, italian mastiff.  We are leaving town over labor day weekend. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations?

If you don't feel comfortable boarding in someones home- we've always used the boarding services at the MSPCA. They are obviously great there and always make you feel like family.
Woof-It is who we use for our dog - they will stay in your house overnight for a reasonable price that includes daily walks and bathroom breaks. Otherwise, they will stop by on a schedule you pick for the length of time you ask for. We were very hesitant to let anyone in our home, but they are super trustworthy and my very anxious dog absolutely loves his walker, Kevin.

Gregory Adams is the owner of Woof-It Pet Care, and they are local. His # is 617-412-5020. Tell him Jameson's mom sent you.

We've also used PetSmart hotel in Cambridge - they have overnight stays plus all day playgroups for $50 a day. Reservations are needed in advance. We tried Brookline Animal Hospital once - not enough walking/playing time for our cattledog.
