This group got it's start with the help of Neighbors for Neighbors and was known as the JP Women's Group. Founded 1/26/07 by Chris Hansen, Director, the group has been so successful with over 800 women and 80 events in their first year that now Kathy and Beth are assisting her in managing the group.

Our purpose is to build community for women in the Boston Area. Our hope is to create more community for gay/queer women in the Boston Area, especially for women who have recently moved here, or who have recently come out. Also, to help change the story that it is so hard to meet people in Boston. We are an inclusive group for women of all ages and backgrounds who identify as gay or queer in any way.
