Breakin last night on Beecher
Neighbors,
Last night, my neighbor, who lives at 29 Beecher Unit 1 was broken into.
The criminal(s) broke into the apartment through the rear first floor window, which according to my neighbor had window stops in place. This is the second time the unit has been broken into in two year. The shades were drawn. There is a porch on the other side of the window.
A laptop and jewelry box were stolen. My neighbor left the apartment in the early morning and returned around 11:30 pm on Friday, 9/25/2009 to discover the robbery. A laptop and Jewelery box were stolen.
This crime has been reported.
We will be holding a meeting for neighbors on surrounding streets at 1:00 pm, at Beecher Street Park, to discuss this incident. The purpose of this meeting is to develop a plan to mobilize our neighborhood to prevent future occurrences.
