Approximately twice a month (usually on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays) there is a gender role free Contra Dance run by the Boston Gay and Lesbian Contra Dancers at the First Church UU at the corner of Eliot St and Centre Street (by the monument). This dance series is in its nineteenth year! It's lots of fun, beginners are welcome, all dances are taught. Come join us; this dance is for GLBT and friends so everyone is welcome and we're a friendly group. If you've never done Contra dancing before it is energetic and social with lively music.

The next dance is this Saturday March 22 from 7:30-11:00 PM. There is also a dance for experienced dancers from 2:00 to 5:30 with a potluck supper for all at 6:00. See http://www.lcfd.org/jp for more information including directions if needed.
