Enjoying and celebrating the legacy of Elma Lewis with FREE performances in Franklin Park this summer! Every Tuesday between July 14 and August 18. Two performances will be held at 11am & 6pm.

July 14, 11 am – Seekers of KnowledgeJuly 14, 6 p.m. – Jazz with Kendrick Oliver and the New Life Jazz Ensemble plus Vivian Cooley-Collier & Company

July 21, 11 a.m. - Stephen O'Neal and IntaAfrika, plus Marcus Santos and Batukaxe
July 21, 6 p.m. – Serious Bizness featuring Ray Greene

July 28, 11 a.m. - A. Major Dance
July 28, 6 p.m. – Tentumbao

** Playhouse shows on Aug. 4 are inside the Franklin Park Zoo, as part of National Night Out. Admission to the Zoo is free all day.
August 4, 11 a.m. OrigiNation
August 4, 6 p.m. Ashmont Hill

August 11, 11 a.m. – Commonwealth Shakespeare Company
August 11, 6 p.m. - Andre Ward

August 18, 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. - Boston Children's Festival

Opening Night at the Elma Lewis Playhouse in the Park
6:00 pm –Vivian Cooley-Collier opening for local jazz great, Kendrick Oliver and the New Life Jazz Band
Children will love the roving jugglers and you’ll learn about the Playhouse legacy and its original founder, Elma Lewis.
Bring a lawn chair and a picnic supper for great music in Boston’s largest and most spectacular park.
