Sure. What do you want me to exhibit? Is it a family event?

Hey guys - the kids need your help.

Recent budget cuts
seek to slash the school budget. The proposed budget literally means
the elimination of entire programs in our schools, everything from
arts to AP Calculus; Pre-k to high school seniors. If you have a
(grand) child in the system, hope to have a (grand) child in the
system, had a child in the system, or simply care about the education
of our children, then please take action. What can you do?

For starters, call, e-mail and/or write our Mayor, and City
Councilors. (the contact info follows.)
If you feel you would like to get involved beyond that, joining a
coalition of parents from across Boston schools or attend meeting and
rallies, the let me know and I will put you in touch. But, minimally,
can't you take 5 minutes out of your day to call, write or e-mail our
city officials?

Write or say whatever you like, but for those of you that like the
ease of cut-and-paste, here is a sample and simple message that you
can send.

Sample message:
I am contacting you as a voting citizen of the City of Boston
regarding the proposed budget cuts to our public schools. These cuts
are unacceptable. I ask that you reject this budget and get more
creative, find ways to fund our schools. In the words of Boston's own
John Kennedy: ""Children are the world's most valuable resource and
its best hope for the future."

To whom you can send this to via phone, e-mail or post:
