Neighbors,

The past weekend on forbes street:

- A bike was stolen (fence was dismantled to pull lock off and light unscrewed)
- A home was broken into, laptops, passports, camera and bag, and key to car stolen.
- The keys that we stolen where used to steal a car.

Please:

- Call 911 immediately to report all suspicious activity.
- Turn on outside lights at night - ALL NIGHT. Motion lights are good eco-alternatives.
- Use curtains/shades when not home.
- Do not use cat/dog door (this was the entry point for the home that was broken into)
- Do not leave key, passports valuables by door. (Where the items where in the home that was broken into)
- Use alarm (arm if you have it - the alarm was not armed in the house that was broken into).
- Hold a Neighborhood Watch meeting - Contact E-13, or Carolyn MacNeil (macneilc.bpd@cityofboston.gov) at the the Neighborhood Watch Unit to schedule one).
- Store your bike inside.
