Break-in 17 Boylston Street Today
Today, Friday May 21, between 9:00 am and 1:00pm, 17 Boylston Street, Unit 1, was broken into and 3 laptops and other valuables were stolen.
The resident believe the perpetrators entered though an open window on the first floor.
DO NOW LEAVE WINDOWS OPEN with having window stops.
This was reported to the Police and report was filled.
Other suggestions:
- Closes shades so people can see in
- Leave a radio and lights (if at night) on when you're not home to create sense that someone is home.
- Do not leave valuable in plain site like flat screen TV's and jewelery of windows.
- Secure air conditioners so they cannot be pushed in
- Do not buzz anyone in to your building you do not know
- Call 911 to report people who you do not know snooping around your building

There was also a break-in at 7 Kenney Street today. Saw the Boston PD at the scene around 5pm. Trying to get more information but wanted everyone to be aware. One of the residents told me his computer and digital camera were taken.
Very scary! -
