Hi Everyone. I witnessed a purse snatching tonight on Lamartine near Hoffman (halfway between Jackson Square and Stony Brook T stops) and from what I gathered there was another one earlier today as well. In the incident I saw, three attackers, teenager/young adult, dressed in black hoodies knocked a woman down and took off with her purse. They seemed to come out of nowhere, so they may be using side streets to get around.

Please be aware of your surroundings and keep your bags close. We live in a city, so these sorts of things are bound to happen, but be careful and alert.
