I have picked up virgin coconut oil (the kind recommended for cooking) and am amazed at how freaking delicious it really is! I've used it to cook some adzuki beans and leeks, as well as in a baked Macintosh apple and Scottish Organic Oatmeal crumble.
On top of that! I've even used it to do a "hot oil" treatment for my hair and had enough oil left over to give my skin a much needed hydrating boost.
This is something to get super excited about!
What's something you've added to your pantry recently?
Wow! I haven't used whey yet! How terrific to hear this. I'm going to pick some up. The other day I got some seriously yummy lime relish from City Feed. Oh yes. It is so good to eat with rice, snap peas, onions and cabbage.
