Hi! I started running recently and I am training to run the Tufts 10K on Oct 13. I've scheduled my "long" (4-5 miles) runs for Monday afternoons around the Pond and would like some company as it is getting dark earlier and earlier.
I play soccer and tennis, so I am in relatively good shape but I do run slowly. Any takers?

Good luck with the Tufts 10K this weekend. If you're looking to continue your long runs after the race let me know. I could also use some motivation to stay out there now that it's getting dark earlier. I can't do weekday afternoons, but can do early evenings or weekends.
If any of the previous posters are still looking for a group run I'd love to join.

Hi Gretchen! Thanks for the reply. Sorry about the confusion, but what I meant to say by afternoons is early evenings - starting at about 6pm.

As far as running after the race, I hope to keep doing it. However, I have never tried running during the winter before and I'm a wimp about the cold, so I may not last too much longer.
