Do stuff with and for your neighbors

At-Large Boston City Councillor John R. Connolly, Chair of the Council’s Environment and Health Committee, will hold a public hearing Monday, March 30 at Landry’s Bicycles, 890 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston at 6:00 PM, to examine the status of the City’s shared-bike program. Cool. Please add this as an event too!
Is the shared bike program already in place or is there a hearing to put on in place?
Thanks!
There is not a shared bike program already in place. The City of Boston has issued a Request For Proposals (RFP) and is still in the planning stages. The program is set to launch next year. The hearing is for the community to be informed of the status of the project and it allows a chance for members of the community to give their input. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions!
