Neighbors for Neighbors

Do stuff with and for your neighbors

Between June 2007 and June 2008, notloB Folk Concerts presented 27 acoustic not-for-profit parlour concerts at the Loring-Greenough House (12 South Street).  Artists included Sometymes Why (Aoife O'Donovan, Kristin Andreassen and Ruthy Ungar Merenda), Mike and Ruthy, Lissa Schneckenburger, the Rowan Brothers, Rushard Eggleston, Geoff Bartley, Bob Franke, Danielle Miraglia (pictured below)....  For a complete artist roster, visit http://notlobmusic.googlepages.com

We are very pleased to announce that concerts will resume in April, 2010.

Anyone interested in this volunteer-run music series can reach the organizers by email to notlobreservations@mail.com

Volunteer assignments that need to be filled:
  • Publicity/street team (print/copy/distribute posters and flyers; social media)
  • Concert set-up and take-down (about 45 chairs)
  • Refreshments (baking or obtaining, serving, clean up)

Our old food partner, Sweet Finish had donated
pastries unfortunately has gone out of business.  We are seeking a
sandwich/salad provisioner for the artists and pastry, coffee and tea
provisioner for the patrons.  In exchange for donations or at-cost
sales your partnership will be recognized in our publicity.
