Something we've overlooked in the past is that we forgot to focus on supporting new projects leader after the event. A couple thoughts:
- We need to help each project leader and non-profit partner understand how to use and reap the benefits this network afford them.
- The groups functionality is robust and will REALLY MAKE THEIR LIVES EASIER.
- We also have to help them with organizing basics and remind them to, for example: follow up immediately with folks who expressed interest shortly after the event; delegate tasks; acknowledge their members ideas and contributions; and set attainable and incremental goals.
