Hi everyone! Thanks for joining the Emergency Preparedness Pie Party Group. Pie Parties are a great (and delicious!) way to get to know your neighbors, prepare for potential disasters (a disaster is anything that threatens to overwhelm emergency personnel - like Hurricane Sandy and Blizzard Nemo), and build neighborhood and community resilience. We're thrilled to be teaming up with Neighbors for Neighbors, by the way - talk about synergy! Right now, we're focusing on our first big event, which is fast-approaching:
