Porch collapse on Nira Ave.

The second floor back porch of a three-family house at 3 Nira Ave. collapsed onto the first floor porch tonight. According to bystanders, there were "about 30 people" on the second floor porch when it collapsed. An article on JP Patch says that 16 people were taken to the hospital, none with life-threatening injuries and most with minor injuries. This seems like an appropriate time to warn readers of Neighbors for Neighbors about allowing parties to spread from the house onto the back porch.…See More

Photoshop Elements 8 for Mac

I have a copy of Photoshop Elements 8 for Mac that I bought on-line in January.Unfortunately, it does not work on my Mac, which has a PowerPC chip. This version of PE8 works only with Macs with the newer Intel chips.I would like to donate this piece of software to a not-for-profit group that teaches audiovisual skills, graphic design, etc., to school-aged children.I thought there used to be such a program in JP operating somewhere between Green Street and Forest Hills. Does anyone have any more…See More
