Car break-in on Boylston Thursday night (2/11)

Just wanted to alert everyone that a roommate's car was broken into last night, and stereo (deck, sub woofer, speakers, etc.) and personal items were stolen. It was parked on Boylston just up from Lamartine near that bend in the road just past the liquor store; it was parked there at 10:30PM last night (Thurs 2/11) and was found broken into at 7:45AM this morning. The car doors had all been locked, no windows were broken; the car alarm had been de-activated by the burglars.Did anyone else…See More

We're glad you joined us on Jamaica Plain's soundboard for voices and springboard for action!

As you've heard, there have been a bunch of muggings happening around lately and we could sure use your help to get the word out to arm our neighbors with safety tips. Please see our SafeWalk group - for details.

We also need help running the network, please check out the Community Advocates group for roles that need to be filled and also check out the JP Volunteers group to find out what other organization in JP need help with.

While the focus at the moment is about keep and eye for each other and prevent crime, about 95% of what happens on this network is that we do fun stuff with and for each other. Please read, post, reply, think about, share, attend, and create anything you wish - if something does not exist that you want START IT!
