one JP event that you do not want to miss is the 4th Annual Beantown Society "Don't Wait Till We're Dead" Youth Talent Show this Friday 4/18 from 7-10pm at Spontaneous Celebrations (45 Danforth St., JP). The talent show highlights youth in Boston who are working to make positive change in their community. The mission of Beantown Society is to unite youth in Boston across race, class, culture, and neighborhood to end youth violence by changing youth's oppression, neglection, rejection, and depression into youth power. Tickets for the event are $5/youth, $7/adults at the door or $3/youth, $5/adults in advance. This event will most likely sell out beforehand.
